Frequently Asked Questions

  • These CME activities are approved through the SDMS and are accepted for credential maintenance by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and Sonography Canada. It is your responsibility to confirm that SDMS-approved activities satisfy the specific requirements of your credential renewal cycle.

  • You have up to three attempts to achieve a passing score of 80% or higher on each activity. We recommend reviewing the lesson material before each retake. If you do not reach 80% within three attempts, no credit will be awarded for that activity and it will be considered exhausted for the subscription year.

  • After passing the quiz, you will complete a short CME claim form with your SDMS account number and associated email address. Once submitted, your claim is sent directly to the SDMS through our integrated system. Please allow 7–10 days for the SDMS to process your claim and upload the certificate to your SDMS account. You do not need to do anything else — there is no manual upload required on your end.

  • No problem. If you do not have an existing SDMS account, one will be created for you by the SDMS using the email address you provide on the claim form. Make sure you use an email address you have ongoing access to, as your certificate and future SDMS correspondence will be sent there.

  • Ten new CME activities are released every July 1st, updated to reflect the latest guidelines and current research in cardiac sonography. All active subscribers receive access to the new set automatically — no action needed on your end.

  • Yes. Your activity credits are valid for the subscription year running July 1 through June 30. All activities must be completed and claims submitted before July 1, when the activity set resets for the new year. Unused credits do not roll over, so we recommend spacing your activities throughout the year rather than waiting until June.

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of your purchase date by filling out our Contact Form. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If any CME activity content has been accessed, the subscription is no longer eligible for a refund regardless of how many activities were completed. Please review our full Return Policy for details.
